“ARE YOU THE POPSICLE STICK, LADY?” the handsome, tall, young man asked; as he was getting ready to exit a local ISAACS’ restaurant. He had on a work badge, and had stopped in for lunch. He saw me standing near my: KINDNESS IS A SUPER POWER! display for my LIFE LIFTER! Stick-With-It – Outlook Shift Engineering tools!
I SMILED and acknowledged, YES I WAS! I TOLD HIM it had been a TOPSY TURVY DAY – and he MADE MY DAY by asking!
He told me he, regularly, takes some of them to give out to people! I told him I WAS SO THRILLED HE HAD SHARED THAT INFORMATION! I let him know you never realize how many people a small act can impact in a positive way!
I told him a little about my childhood, and becoming a care giver – representative to an oldest sister; who had become brain damaged at age 21 – being hit by a drunk driver. I let him know MY INTENTION is to HELP OTHERS who may be dealing with a LIFE CHALLENGE or MOMENTARY STRESS or SHOCK – by giving them a second to interrupt that – with a WARM THOUGHT or COMPLIMENT – with a KINDNESS.
I told him I wanted to give him something in return; to just stand there. I CLAPPED AND ANNOUNCED: VERY GOOD! (clapped) VERY GOOD! (threw my hands up in the air, announcing) YEAHHHH! YOU’RE YOUUUUU! He loved it!
We both left there with BIG SMILES on our FACES and in our HEARTS and SOULS!
WHAT SYNCHRONICITY hee hee – to have been at THAT LOCATION at THAT MOMENT – to encounter this BEAUTIFUL, GRATEFUL SOUL, and hear how my ACTION is impacting others!
